YYou’ll travel in comfort along a scenic route through the Canton of San Ramón, then south on the Pan-American Highway. During the journey, your guide will discuss the generalities of Costa Rica. Once at the volcano’s summit, you’ll enter Poás Volcano National Park and learn about the area’s evolution, history, vegetation and main eruptions of the volcano. You’ll then enjoy a typical Costa Rican lunch before going on to the waterfalls and butterfly gardens at La Paz (butterfly garden, serpentarium, ranarium & aviary). From there, you’ll continue on to Sarchi, home to some of Costa Rica’s most storied artisans, where you’ll tour the famous oxcart factories and enjoy some souvenir shopping.
