CLOUD FOREST NATURE WALK AND QUETZAL - This popular tour departs from Villa Blanca at 7:15 a.m. and travels approximately 45 minutes along a scenic drive to the Azahar Peak, located near La Paz de San Ramón. The tour continues to the summit, reaching a private family farm where the Quetzal nests. You may observe the footprints of the wild boars and mountain cats that habitat this elevation, along with a variety of higher attitude birds (1400 meters), including the illusive Quetzal who nests in this area between Feb. and June each year.
