VILLA BLANCA "NOCTURNAL" NATURE WALK - The new "Nocturnal Cloud Forest Guided Walk" at Villa Blanca gets high marks from hotel guests and nature experts alike.

This tour is on the hotel trail network and begins at 6:00 p.m., just before nightfall. Each participant will be given a flashlight before entering the trail of this amazing tour. Your guide will discuss the unique qualities of the nocturnal cloud forest and introduce you to a wide variety of nocturnal species -- including rarely seen insects, frogs, snakes, owls and other nocturnal mammals. This is a slowly paced walk designed to give you time to observe the wildlife close-up and discover many characteristics never seen during the daylight hours.
