THE PAOS VOLCANO, LA PAZ WATERFALLS AND SARCHI - Attention golfers: leave the clubs at home. We will provide the driver! The tour departs from Villa Blanca at 8:00 a.m., taking the road to San Ramón, then south on the Pan-American Highway. During the drive, your guide will give you an overview of Costa Rica -- from its history and politics to its agriculture which includes coffee, tobacco, sugar cane, strawberries and a variety of colorful flowering trees.

Once at the volcano's summit, you will enter Poas Volcano National Park and learn about the evolution, history, vegetation, and principal eruptions of Poas Volcano. You'll stop for a typical Costa Rican lunch before going on to the Waterfalls and Butterfly Gardens at La Paz. From there you'll continue on to the town of Sarchi where you will visit the famous oxcart factories.
